We have been so active over the past few months that I even contemplated finishing this but it’s a record of our growth, my son in age and character, and me in age and parenthood, it’s also a spiritual route as well and that is important. So, apologies for not reporting or journaling for a while.
My son is at an amazing nursery come primary school which he loves and I have 2 or 3 new projects at work, however, as a family, we have decided to do 3 or 4 city breaks in the UK, for our sanity, each year.
We have booked the first one to York on March 1 and 2 so we are back on track, so to speak. As we have confessed previously Michael and I are train buffs (the old word for nerds) and they have the train museum there as well as a very impressive and culturally important Minster.
The thing I have found when raising a child, not relating to one’s age or commitments is you have to be aware of weather conditions. Although our on is nearly 4he still likes his luxury of being in a pushchair which means he is open to the elements. We haven’t been able to do half what we wished to do because of his age and the weather. So if anyone is contemplating touring or travelling with kids, plan for when they are a toddler
